From the author:

The glasses are made from color intermediates. They are welded into lumps in an electric furnace at a temperature of about 830°C. The process of welding and cooling a lump of 7 cm thick takes 12 days. These lumps are then cut with a circular saw, glued, ground and polished.

She is a zodiacal Libra.
In her hometown, she went to elementary school while attending a first-grade music school, from which she graduated in violin class. She continued her education at the Emilia Plater High School, also in Sosnowiec.
From 1977 to 1982, she studied at the Glass Department of the State Higher School of Plastic Arts in Wroclaw, where she had the opportunity to gain professional "training" from such prominent Polish glass artists as Henryk Wilkowski, Ludwik Kiczura, Zbigniew Horbowy and Jerzy Chodurski. She completed her diploma under the direction of Professor Zbigniew Horbowy. Since 1984, she has been a researcher at the Department of Glass. From 1996 to 2002 she held the position of head of the Department of Glass. In 2001, she received the title of full professor. In 2005- 2008 she held the position of dean of the Department of Ceramics and Glass. She currently heads the Artistic Glass Studio in the Department of Glass, which is a continuation of the studio once headed by her master-professor Zbigniew Horbowy, and again held the position of Dean of her alma mater during the 2012-2016 term.
In 1995, she received 1st prize in the " Polish Glass'95" competition.
In 1996, at the Poznań International Fair, a utility set of her design called " Aquarius" was awarded a gold medal. All manufactured elements of this set were patented. Also in 1996, a glass object of her authorship titled. " The bawdy toe of the Evil Wizard" was presented by the authorities of Wroclaw to Tadeusz Różewicz for his 75th birthday.
In 2003, she was honored with one of the parallel 10 awards at the competition exhibition "Glass -c.d." in Wroclaw
She is a laureate of the prestigious Cultural Award of Silesia of the Lower Saxony Region in 2006. In 2009 she received the Award of the Minister of Culture and Art for her artistic achievements. In 2012 she was awarded the "Meritorious for Polish Culture" badge by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2013 she received the Gloria Artis Silver Medal, also from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In2016 she was honored with the City of Sosnowiec Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement. In 2018, she received an honorary medal of "Merit for the City of Wroclaw" from the hands of the new mayor of the city, Jacek Sutryk.In 2019, she was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit and the Gold Medal Gloria Artis
During her work at the Academy of Fine Arts, she was awarded the Rector's Award of the 1st degree 7 times and the Rector's Special Award .
At the request of the municipal authorities of Sosnowiec she made a gift from the city to the Holy Father John Paul II - a glass sculpture entitled "Torn Pine".
She is also the author of the statue " Golden Academic Laurel", which was given to John Paul II by the College of Rectors of Lower Silesia .
Both sculptures went to the Vatican Museum.
In 2011, the same body commissioned another " Golden Academic Laurel" from her, a new variant of which was placed in the hands of Pope Benedict X VII on November 24, 2012.
In 2013, the councillors of the City of Wroclaw commissioned a sculpture from her, which was presented to the city's honorary citizen - then Minister of Culture and National Heritage - Bogdan Zdrojewski.In 2017, on the order of Solidarnosci Dolnośląska, she made the Relic of the Blood of Blessed Jerzy Popieluszko, placed in the Wroclaw Cathedral. She has participated in about 200 group exhibitions at home and abroad and had 25 solo exhibitions - also at home and abroad.
In her work she deals with objects shaped by the method of "cold" and welding in an electric furnace, gluing individual elements from optical glass, color-welded glass, often with engraving and her own texts written by engraving on the surface of glass. This can be called "own technique". The works usually have intentional overtones.
