80x60, own technique on canvas, 2022
B. 1985, Warsaw
From an early age, her greatest passions were drawing and painting. In 2010, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (majoring in interior design), with a Master of Fine Arts degree. After graduation, her professional path took a turn towards interior media. She worked with interior design magazines as a stylist and photo editor, and with an advertising agency, designing and styling photo shoot sets. Then it was time to start a family. She started carrying her children in slings and this was the beginning of her current creative path and her greatest inspiration. She has developed her own technique, where she combines painting and printmaking with collages pieced from scraps of scarves.
She works mainly with acrylic paints, markers and, more recently, with loose pigments and schagmetal.
In 2019 she had a short exhibition at the Wrapaville scarf fair at the Jablkowscy Brothers House.
The direction of her work is mostly figurative and genre painting. She draws inspiration mainly from the closeness offered by slinging and the natural world. Her favorite subjects are slinging and animals and plants. Recently she has also taken up sacred themes.
Her trademark are fabric collages.
Until recently, she has creatively existed only in a narrow, hobbyist sling community, but in 2021 she came out with her paintings to a wider audience
