100x70, framed: 105x75, ink and acrylic on cardboard, 2012
Graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. In her works she tries not to limit herself formally, although her favorite tool for many years has been acrylic. She looks for inspiration in everyday life, the structure of the surrounding world and in the confrontation of her own thoughts with reality.
In her own words: "My latest works were created during a period of pandemonium, when isolation was conducive to the possibility of diving into the darkest depths of one's psyche and bringing uncomfortable emotions, often hidden for years, to the surface. It provided an opportunity to look at them, amazingly powerful and vivid, and at the same time, the kind we don't quite want to see in ourselves. This time the play became for me a kind of open heart surgery without anesthesia."
