80x80, acrylic on canvas, 2024
She is self-taught and paints out of passion. Even as a child she was interested in drawing, but it wasn't until she was an adult that she started painting pictures on canvas. She puts a lot of work and heart into each of her paintings. She loves to pour on canvas the beauty of nature, fleeting moments that can be frozen in a painting. She is most interested in realistic painting, but also tries other forms, e.g. surrealism, abstraction. The sea often appears in her paintings, she tries to reflect its beauty with great care, and each painting contains a piece of her soul. In 2020 she established her own art business Malczewska Art. She has participated in several painting competitions, and in 2021 her painting titled. "Stop the moment" won a silver award in the International online painting competition "Shadows of blue" organized by Camelback Gallery. Her paintings have taken part in many group pre-auction exhibitions at, among others, Desa Unicum Gallery in Warsaw. Works of Magdalena Malczewska are in private collections in Poland, Germany and Canada.
