He has been painting since 1965. Artist painter. The subjects of his works are figures, architecture, landscapes and still life. He perfected his technique under the guidance of Jerzy Rosolowicz. He is a member of the Lower Silesian Association of Artists and Visual Artists in Wroclaw and a group of Dzierżoniów painters. His artistic output includes 80 solo exhibitions at home and abroad. His paintings are in the Ethnographic Museum in Wroclaw and in private collections in Poland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and the USA. The artist's works are characterized by realism, attention to precise definition of shape and all details of an object or person. He combines elements taken from nature with creations of the imagination. He has his own unique style, including elongated faces, expressive eyes, colorful coloring. Despite the apparent simplicity of his paintings, the whole composition is impressive and evokes the intended mood. Folkiness, cubist shapes and vivid color schemes shine through from the paintings. In his own words, "My Painting stems from the need for internal discharge." In 2008, he was honored by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with an honorary badge of "Merit to Polish Culture" - for special merits in the dissemination of culture. In 2018, he was awarded the "Gold Badge of Honor - Meritorious for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship" by the Chairman of the Lower Silesian Parliament. In 2019, he was awarded the "Medal for Merits to Dzierżoniów" from the Chairman of the Dzierżoniów City Council.
