Martyna Merkel - a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. She studied at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture. She defended her diploma in 2014 in the studio of Professor Stanislaw Kortyka. Martyna Merkel's paintings are mainly inspired by landscapes, and she has been a member of the Association of Polish Artists since 2017. The author has participated in exhibitions and competitions in Poland and abroad.
The painter's work is best described in the words of art historian Zuzanna Ciszewska, "Martyna looks with colors, light and shapes, squinting her eyes and letting them merge and intermingle, creating a ready-made, elusive composition. She brings out all the beauty of nature, all the secrets and reasons for emotion inherent in it."
