80x60, spray on canvas
b. 1977 in Lille, France
As a teenager, he joined the prestigious St. Luc Art School in Belgium to study artistic humanities. It was there that some of his teachers, impressed by his talent, encouraged him to never stop creating. Mad then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tournai, Belgium. At the same time, in the 1990s, he discovered the culture of gaffiti and spray paint, which he still works with today. He developed alongside some of the biggest names of the activist scene in France at the time.
Quite discreetly but nevertheless, he regularly appears in Graffiti and QStreet Art magazines such as France's "graff it" and Switzerland's "graffbombz." In them you can find extremely lushly colored murals, created in a very unique style, representing Arsh's artistic personality.
Today, being an active artist, he paints both on the street (alone or with his collective "Mad Heresy") and in the studio, where he creates most of his time on canvas.
