Ink, paper, 50x65cm, 2024
From the author:
These paintings are a step beyond the boundaries of reality, the fine line between the existing and the non-existing, the real and the fabulous, and even, in a sense, the cosmic. After all, what we can't see doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Everything is in the field of our consciousness.
Irina Baranova
Born on December 17, 1978 in Ukraine. She began her creative work in her student years under the tutelage of the talented, well-known artist Sergey Yurievich Babich. It was he who instilled in me a love for art. In 2019, I moved with my family to Wroclaw and began studying at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in the painting department. Also in Poland, I took part in joint exhibitions with the Lower Silesia group of artists, participated in online exhibitions such as "Golden Time Talent", where I received 1st and 2nd place and "Luxemburg Art Prize", participated in the auction of Ukrainian art organized by Xanadu gallery, where I also successfully sold my works. In my works, I prefer materials such as oil and acrylic, and I use the author's technique of drawing in ink. I do not follow one style or direction in art, I always follow my emotions and feelings, so the concepts of my art change over time. My creative path is directly influenced by my experiences.
